I'm sure he's been in every pub inside the M25 – and remembered at least one interesting fact about each!
He's organised a number of walks for staff in my company in a variety of locations –
Soho, Belgravia and along the Thames to name but three, always picking pubs with history and quickly
establishing the ambience and ales that will best suit the taste of his clientele.

informative.
A great selection of hostelries are sure to be on the cards; whether it's a riverside walk,
a tour of old gin palaces or focussed on seeing Trafalgar Square at Christmas. Phil's knowledge of the
history and cultural significance of the sights on routes and the pubs themselves and are second to none.
Phil's good to point out opportunities for good photos and an excellent pint as well in some less
known spots and hidden gems. Every tour has made the trip to London a grand day out.

It was like going back in time when I walked into some of the pubs with the atmosphere, lighting or
graffiti or hanging ornamental on the ceiling and walls.

I have been on several walks led by Phil and I have always been impressed by his knowledge of interesting
places to see and the underground and bus routes to get there, seemingly all off the top of his head.
I have particularly enjoyed the interesting and historic pubs that are tucked away in London,
some being only yards away from passing commuters and visitors most of whom are oblivious to what is hidden
nearby.
In addition to the historic and interesting sights of London I know that Phil also can recommend places and
tailor walks for a variety of age groups and interests.
